Why have you done nothing? So what if he is well liked? My father is killed and my sister has been driven insane!
Hamlet was the one that killed your father. He mistook him for me.
Let him come! I will confront him and make him pay.
I am in your kingdom, alone, tired, and poor. Please meet me tomorrow.-Hamlet
My lord! Letters from hamlet!
Hmm, alright. To be safe, though, I will prick the tip with poison.
Laertes you mustn't! Listen carefully, I am going to schedule a fencing match for you and Hamlet. If you agree, you will get your revenge
The king and Laertes talk alone. Claudius blames Hamlet for the death of Polonius but Laertes is more upset with the King. Laertes shames the king for not taking action against Hamlet. King Claudius says Hamlet is too popular and there would be riots.
Laertes! Your sister has drowned!
Osric gives Claudius the letters from Hamlet and he reads them out loud. Laertes wants to confront Hamlet to make himself feel better.
She couldn't handle the stress and grief. She threw herself into the brook and chained herself down. She lie there, singing and eventually the currents pulled her down.
Claudius does not want him to confront Hamlet. He instead says he will arrange a fencing match. Laertes requests a poisoned tip and a poisoned wine as back up.
I have no words. My words are over taken with tears. I am truly heartbroken.
Laertes please, remember our conversation.
The queen tells Claudius and Laertes that Ophelia drowned herself.
Drowned!? Where?
Queen Gertrude explains Ophelia's death.
Laertes is very upset now and cannot speak. Claudius tells him not to forget about their revenge plan.
