- We Need to go hunting to get food for the tribe tonight
- We need to hurry up, its going to be dark soon
- In the past Aboriginal Australians would set out different roles for getting the food like the women would go collect fruits and small animals and the men would go and hunt using spears and daggers for fish, kangaroos etc.
- The Aboriginal women would collect all sorts of fruits like wild passionfruit, wild oranges, bush tomato, bush banana, bush plums, mulga seeds and wattle seeds they would also collect small animals, eggs and honey.
- The Aboriginal men would quickly find a animal to hunt and take it out with a spear so they can take it back to the tribe to cook and eat to feed everyone.

- The men would walk back with the kangaroo to meet the women and start slowly cooking the kangaroo and eat some fruit and bugs that the women collected while the men were hunting.
- They would cover the kangaroo in hot coals and cook the kangaroo to soften up the meat, after the meat has been cooked it is quickly consumed by the tribe.
