At the wedding of Peleus all the important gods were invited except Eris. So she put a golden apple on the table that said to the fairest. Three different people thought it was for them, Hera Zeus's wife, Athena his daughter, and the godess Aphrodite. So they had a mortal prince named Paris to judge the contest.
Patroclus pretends to be Achilles
Achiles mother wanted him to not get hurt by anything, so she dipped him in the River Styx but she didn't get his heels. So Achilles only weakness are his heels
Achilles fights Hector
Paris wanted to marry a princes named Helen. So he kidnapped her in the middle of the night. But Helen's father had made suitors swear an oath to protect her so they had to get her back.

Achilles's best freind Patroclus couldn't convince him to join the fight. So he wore Achilles's armour to make everyone believe he was him. He then led them into battle but was killed by Hector.

After his friend's death Achilles became angry. He wanted to kill Hector. So, the two fought each other in front of the two armies and Hector was killed by Achilles.
The Greeks realized that they had to find a way to get into the city of troy. So they built a giant wooden horse on weels and brought it to the walls of the city. They told them it was a gift from the gods, but when the horse got into the city Greeks jumped out from the inside of the horse where they had been hiding.
