- An orange seed is planted in the ground and begins to grow
- The sapling lives on the food of the cotyledon until it starts growing it's own leaves.
- The fruits attract some dispersal agent which in this case is a monkey.
- The sapling then grows into a elephantine tree. The tree then grows flowers which in time turn into fruits. The fruit contains seeds.
- A monkey consumes the orange fruit and its seeds, and then travels to another place
- The monkey deposits the orange seeds in another place through its feces
- The seed begins to grow into another tree, and restarts the life cycle
