- After they moved to Lansing their house was burned down in 1929 but everyone escaped
- Malcom x House is fire bombed
- On September 28, 1931 Earl was struck by a street car in Lansing his death was ruled as an accident but people believed it was the black legion a white group of people that he had accused of burning down the house in 1929

- On February 21, 1965 Malcolm was assassinated in front of his wife and kids A man ran forward and shot him 16 times And shortly after Malcolm was pronounced dead At Columbia Pressbytrein hospital
