- Izzy is the type of person that is more focused on the things going on in her head than what's actually going on around her as a result she doesn't get the best grades, but she is very into theater and acting and she's preparing for a talent show in a few days.

- Brianna is a straight A student, but she does not like the idea of acting and whatnot; she only likes to focus on her already good grades. She doesn't like to mess around and is the brains of her school. Not to mention her mom is very outgoing and is the teacher of the theater class at Brianna's school.

- Izzy didn't study for her test so she left many things blank which resulted in her getting a bad grade and getting grounded for 3 days, which means she's not allowed to go to the talent show which she has been working so hard for, so she's devastated.

- There is a talent show in Bri's school and since her mom is the theater teacher, she wants Brianna to be in the talent show doing a play. Since Bri doesn't like acting, she doesn't agree to it at first, but with her mom's very convincing words, she finally agrees to it.
- OK OK Fine mom but just this once...
- Izzy decides to sneak out to the talent show, she does a rehearsal and it goes great, but as soon as she walks out the doors she sees her family including her mom, who is fuming. Izzy's mom pulls her to the side and starts yelling at Izzy. Turns out that Dani told on Izzy, but Dani speaks up and tells her mom that Izzy has been working so hard for this. Izzy's mom gives Izzy a long hard stare and finally says fine but your in trouble after this. Izzy goes up on stage and performs and at the end she gets a big round of applause.

- *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*
- Brianna practiced for 2 hours straight, and finally got it down pat; she even rehearsed a few times. When she got up on stage, she froze up and forgot her lines; she thought she did terrible, but her mom couldn't be more proud. Dev, her friend she was acting with, invited her to get ice cream and she agreed. She realized he had actually had fun, though she messed up and maybe she would try it again.
