What case finally ended segregation under state law?
It started when Homer Plessy who was 1/8 African blood sat in the white car for a train instead of the colored car. He refused to get up and move to the colored car.
The judge found him guilty. The charge was "Viol. Sec. 2 Act 111, 1890" of the Louisiana sperate car act.
Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas ended segregation under state law. Many states amended or rewrote their constitutions to agree with the 14th amendment.
