- When the producer performs photosynthesis I am used as an input for making glucose. The carbon atoms are split up and three-carbon molecules are created. During photosynthesis carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere, while it releases oxygen into the air.
- I start as a carbon atom in the atmosphere but then I enter the algae for them to perform cell respiration
- Hey, I'm Adam The Atom, just call me Adam. I'm a carbon atom that cycles through the biosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere and atmosphere. I'll be showing you a day in my life!
- The fish eats the algae which then I am transferred to the fish. When the fish eventually dies it's body gets decomposed so then I will transfer into the geosphere as a fossil fuel in bones and such

- The same cycle happens in the biosphere and in the hydrosphere. The producers me and my friends (carbon) for photosynthesis. Consumers then come and consume the producer and once the consumer dies they get decomposed into fossil fuels. These fuels get burned back into the atmosphere and the carbon atoms get respirated again and the cycle continues!
- Now I'm in the atmosphere from the fossil fuels due to them being burned, such as in cars or used as a fossil fuel really in any way. I am ready to be breathed in again and start the cycle again.
