- Sally, welcome to you tour of Carcassonne ! I know you are new here but hopefully by the end of this tour you will love it!
- Yay! I can hardly wait!
- First stop is Carcassonne's finest farms! As you can see, we have the latest technology: iron plows and horse harnesses as opposed to wood.
- As a matter of fact, it did! Luckily, this also led economic prosperity due to an increase of trade!
- How interesting! I bet that change greatly increased your crop growth!
- Wait, I thought the King controlled everyone in Carcassonne ?
- Surprisingly, no. Due to papal supremacy and the fact that the church is the most powerful institution in the village, the Pope controls almost everything such as education and armies.
- This is the Village Church! This is one of the only places around here where you will find unity between the class systems, and that is in large part due to the mayor-like role the Pope plays for the community.
- Eww so this village is filled with poor people!
- Not exactly Sally. See that guild meeting over yonder? That is how the middle class gain economic and political power, and also more equal rights between men and women.
- Here we have a middle class village, mostly made up of either nobles or peasants.
- Oh my gosh, what are they doing!?!?
- Don't be frightened Sally.! Knight tournaments are quite popular in the town square. After all, what do you fight when there are no jobs for you to fight for?

- Lastly here we have the Kings Castle. The King provides the needs for peasants and lords alike, which then allows lords to divide land up among vassals to promise loyalty and service to the King.
