- let it burn if you are a sensible man.
- breakfast (rising action)
- going to work now. peace.
- if you could have everything you ever wanted, wouldn't you give up almost anything to have that? In this story we learn that our actions, have consequences, and are those consequences a risk your willing to take?
- money (climax)
- monkey's paw
- lol sorry your son's dead.
- in the being a solider comes to visit the white family, telling them of a magical monkeys paw. Throwing it into the fire he warns them not to let it burn unless he wants to pay the price.
- a mothers grieving (falling action)
- if you don't bring our son back I'll kill you myself.
- Mr. White took the paw out of the fire and asked for 200 pounds, seeing as it didn't magically appear in front of them they all went to bed. The next morning all was normal and happy. or was it?
- one last wish (resolution)
- oh thank god he's still dead.
- spoiler alert all was not fine. turns out the son died at work, but good news they got 200 pounds as compensation.
- lost in her despair Mrs. white realizes that just maybe she could get her son back by wishing for him.
- after they wish for him back there's a loud banging on the door. scared by this Mr. White makes once last wish and as the door opens there seems to be no-one outside.
