- Good Morning Mrs. Chin, how are you? Did you see, we are completely out of paper in the copy room?! I dont know how they expect us to teach without paper!
- Good Morning Mrs. Sheldon, No I didn't notice, but no biggie for me! I have a way of teaching students that keeps them engaged and involved in their learning all day long, without worrying about paper at all!
- You must tell me more! How are you able to keep students so engaged and involved without giving them worksheets to and assignments to do on paper?!
- It's simple, I use a model of teaching called SAMR. SAMR helps me to design better learning activities for my students witch involve technology. This model helps me to deliver content in a way that is interestingand engaging for students and also helps me to strengthen my relationships with my students through technology. - It is so much more fun to create a story on the computer! I can put pictures and be more creative with my work!

- I think it is so much more fun to use a computer to type my papers! I am able to check my spelling and grammar easily and my hand doesn't get tired!
- So what you are saying is that students use these computers to do their work and submit their assignments electronically?
- My students use their computers to do most of their work and submit most assignments electronically! Using technology helps them to use many different types of tools, which helps them to develop new concepts and ways of doing things!
- Isn't it hard to grade the assignments on the computer? I am used to the old way of using red pen and writing comments on the papers.
- Using technology I am able to easily grade their work and provide the necessary comments. I am also able to use their technology to keep track of their growth and determine what they need in order to progress.
- I think my old ways of doing things are over! I am definitely going to start using the SAMR model of teaching!
