Storyboard Text

  • The voices you hear are made by the souls of the uncommitted, who lived for themselves, and of the angels who were not rebellious against God nor faithful to Satan.
  • Neither Heaven nor Hell would have them, and so they must remain here with the selfish, forever running behind a banner and eternally stung by hornets and wasps while the worms at their feet eat the blood and tears they make throughout their suffering.
  • What is all the noise?
  • You'll see more as we go deeper so be patient.
  • Look at all these souls.
  • She is here to cross the river bank, for it is God's will.
  • Why is there a living in front of my sight? Hey! You there! Tell your friend to get out! This is not a place for people like her.
  • Forget any hope of seeing Heaven, you wrecked souls, for I have come for you for eternal punishment.
  •
  • I can't help but wonder that the souls, instead of running away from Hell, they are drawn to it, why?
  • As the two poets continue to walk through the gate of hell, Bea hears loud wailings and voices of all kind, she could not bear to cry, being horrified and asks Mira what all the noise is. Mira tells him that this place holds the souls of those who were neither rebellious against God, nor faithful to God.
  • The sharp prod of divine justice make them desire to make the crossing. Choosing the cross the river is their final choice, just as their desire for sin on Earth was also their choice.
  • If you want passage, find another boat which is lighter than mine.
  • Don't worry about Shylen's denial to our request, it's because only the convicted can come this way.
  •
  • Going deeper every step, Bea now watches the souls who are tormented by insects as she closely follows Mira. Frightened by the spectacle, Mira tells her to be patient.
  •
  • After walking through the vestibule of Hell, the two reaches the river bank of Acheron with Shylen, the ferrywoman of the dead. Seeing Bea's presence by Shylen, she is angered to see a living who is trying to cross the river, and so she tells her to leave for she does not belong here. Mira reprimanded Shylen, saying that Bea must cross because it is God's will.
  • I'm like this because of pity, not what you think of.Come on, follow me.
  • Ummm....why are you looking like that? It's creeping me out.
  •
  • Shylen speaks no more, but by signs, and pushing, she herds other spirit into the boat. The ferrywoman strikes with her oars any soul that hesitates. Mira tells Bea to take comfort in Shylen's first refusal to carry her on the boat because only condemned spirits come this way, but Bea is perplexed as to why the people seem eager to enter Hell and so she asks Mira to explain why, Mira then explained that it's the divine justice that turns their fear into desire.
  •
  • As the crowd's numbers increase, both Bea and Mira were driven to the back of the horde. Just after Mira finishes explaining, a violent earthquake triggers as the strong winds blow, Bea experiences the terror as Mira cannot feel it happening. Bea fainted from the event, fell to the ground unconscious.
  •
  • After a certain period of time, Bea wakes up suddenly from the clap of thunder and wailing. She founds herself across the Acheron and at the edge of the deep dark valley or abyss, Mira asks Bea to follow him, but Bea is wary because Mira is deathly pale. Mira explains that his pallor is not due to fear, but pity. The two now starts their descent onto the first circle of Hell, Limbo.
