- Hi my name is Katelyn and this is my mom. Valerie
- My name is Jim and this is my wife Joan. We are Valerie's parents and Katelyn is our only granddaughter.
- I was spending the day with my grandma and my mom and it seemed just like any ordinary day. We spent the day outside and we also got lunch. Nothing seemed off and I was having a lot of fun.

- Grandma started her chemo treatment and since she was getting so weak, she needed to stay in the hospital. She also had a big surgery to get rid of part of the tumor, which went very well. Although she was so sick, she remained positive throughout the entire process.
