- This goes with my theme because if Reshmina wasn't so kind and didn't help Taz He would have died from his wounds. Also, Pasoon would have never run away to go join the Taliban. The book just wouldn't have gone the way it did if she didn't do that.

- If Paoon didn't shot that rifle he wouldn't have put himself and Reshmina in danger. Just to get some money from his friends and recognition from the Taliban. He could have gotten Reshmina and himself killed.

- Pasoon said that reacting the way he did make Reshmina see how he truly felt about Americans she already knew he didn't like them, but he has complete and utter hatred for them because some Americans bombed their sister's wedding.

- I feel like Brandon wouldn't want his dad to be disappointed in him. If Brandon didn't try to defend himself wouldn't have gotten his point across to his dad and communication is key with a parent and child.
- If Branon didn’t punch that kid he wouldn’t be suspended and have to go to work with his dad. He would have never met Richard and wouldn’t have to experience that trama.
- If Brandon just ran away trying to find his dad those people in the elevator would have died because it crashed after they got out.
