- User is disappointed and frustrated because she doesn’t know how she can reduce her food wastage. 29% of UK population say they would like to waste less food but don't know how to do so or where to start .
- Step 4
- I collect rewards from achieving my weekly wastage targets!
- User finds the 'Recycle Me' app in the app store/google store. Easily accessible 'Recycle Me' app will guide users on how to reduce their food-wastewith 3 simple steps.
- Step 5
- The Recycle Me app tackles the problem from the beginning. Now, users are able to log in to the app and track their food and product packaging waste. The app will also have a database of information on local recycling options and incentives for users to reduce their packaging waste
- Step 6
- The app will also offer incentives to users to reduce their packaging waste, such as rewards for using reusable products.
- When opening the app, user will be able to scan product barcode which then shows the user packaging information as well as environmental impact it has.
- This is great! The app allows me to scan my products and show me the impact it has on the environment and also packaging information.
- Thanks to the Recycle Me app I can now feel confident to reduce my waste to minimum whilst being sustainable at the same time!
