- Melanie is ignoring the teaching machine daydreaming about flamingo's when the door slides open and she joins her mom one the first floor her mom helpsher put on her mask and goggles before going outside.
- Falling Action
- After leaving the building they stepped out into the polluted and crowded street. While walking mom told Melanie that they had agreed to take Melanie to the Natural Park.Melanie and her dad went in a helicopter.
- After they arrived the dad started talking to the caretaker and Melanie saw this as her chance to try and find flamingo's. After going farther into the woods area she saw one near the shore and she was immeadiatley filled with joy.She went into the water,moving closer and closer to the flamingo.
- Resoulution
- You should be it's all a part of growing -up.
- Im proud of myslef because I think i've relly matured today.
- She thought it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen and she wanted to touch it becaue she might never have the same oppurtunity again.As soon as she touched the flamingo it fell over and the realization that the flamingo was fake came to her very fast and she began to cry.
- The caretaker began to explain how the last flamingo died because of the bad conditions of the lake. After hearing this Melanie stopped crying ,carefully picked up the flamingo and said goodbye.
- As melanie left she was happy becasue she accepted her fate and that the society she was in wouldn't be as perfect ase she wanted it to be.
