- Ms.LaPrade started the selection of the good fairies and the bad fairies. The good fairies were light-skinned while the bad ones where dark-skinned. "There was the selection of the Good Fairies and the Evil Fairies." And strangely enough most of the Good Fairies usually turned out to be extremely light in complexion
- Climax
- Leonardius was Prince Charming and got to kiss Sarah every pratice. The character did not like Leonardious because he was a "goody-goody." "I had never liked Leonardius Wright. He was a goody-goody." "And now he got a chance to kiss Sarah every day in rehearsing the awakening scene."
- Falling Action
- During the third act, the main character says that Leonardious had a mean look in his eye in the fake battle. "Later I protested loudly—but in vain—that it was a case of self-defense. I pointed out that Leonardius had a mean look in his eye."
- Resolution
- There was a fight during the play versus the evil fairies and the good fairies. "When the curtain rang down, the forces ofGood and Evil were locked in combat." This is an example of external conflict in the story.
- After the fight was over, they raised the curtains to finish the play. "They rang the curtain back up fifteen minutes later, and we finished the play."
- The main chracter was not allowed to participate in the play the follwing year. It didn't matter to him because he couldn't be prince. "They wouldn’t let me appear in the grand dramatic offering at all the next year. But I didn’t care. I couldn’t have been Prince Charming anyway. "
