- Around 431 BC, Athens have been trying to claim more power than all the Greek city-states, but Sparta didn't like that and wanted to declare war

- Athens have been doing too much ruckus lately, us Sparta will declare war on them!

- Athenians had gotten word of this and decided to build a big wall and keep their citizens inside the walls.
- In Result, we must have all the Athenians inside the walls to be safe!

- Sir! We have gotten word that the Spartans want to take war on us!
- The Athenians decided to go with this plan and a plague struck out and many people died including the great leader of Athens.

- After that, the two still went to war many times and both were equally strong.
- ATTACK!!!
- The two would make truces many times, though at the end the Athenians still launched a attack on the Spartans.

- Eventually, Sparta had defeated Athens after cutting their food supply and forced them to surrender.
