Oludah Equiano

Starting off

Olaudah Equiano was born in c.1945. which in 2022 is now in 2022 known as South Eastern Africa. Sadly he was sold into slavery when he was only at the age of 11 years old. Equiano Chose to personally write about his experiences that took pLace while he was a slave during the slave trade era fighting for his own freedom. He was also a very famous abolitionist.

Equiano had been responsible of getting his daily job tasks like for example being a merchant explorer but not for too long did Equiano do that. Equiano had been determined to make the change for the freed slaves. So Equiano decided to make the choice to stand up and finally speak for what is right. He and every other person apart of the slave trade wanted slavery too soon be abolished which Equiano found a way by speaking against the English slave trade.

Eventually while the rough years of fighting for freedom and slavery were going on Olaudah was putting together to publish to what turned out to be some of his most famous books/Autobiography's. Equiano had actually also been one of the first black writers in Europe to publish his own Book that turned out so successful more than anyone could have imagined. Equuiano was truly a Hero in the society.
