- 2During earthquakes, most of us panic immediately. All we have to do is relax and duck, cover, and hang on. Keep a safe distance from glass, windows, exterior doors and walls, and anything that might shatter.

- During a volcanic eruption, avoid low-lying locations, remain indoors, and stay as far away from volcanic ashfall areas as you can. Stay in places where you will not be exposed to further volcanic eruption risks, and pack an emergency kit.
