- Rainsford is introduced to the reader as a hunter. Him and his friend Whitney were on a yacht going someplace to hunt. During the night Rainsford fell off the yacht. He had to start swimming until he finds an island or something
- CLIMAX
- After swimming for 10 minutes he finds an Island called shiptrap island and he meets General Zaroff and nhe tells him hes going to be hunted for 3 days with a 3 hour headstart.
- FALLING ACTION
- Rainsford is now running from General Zarroff and hes now running through the forest setting traps
- RESOLUTION
- Rainsford was being chased by the Generals dogs and he couldn't find any other way to escape except from jumping off the cliff into the water.
- General Zaroff thought Rainsford has died because he saw him jump off the cliff so he presumed he died when he jumped so he decided to head back to the mansion thinking he's won like he always had the past hunts he did.
- As general Zaroff gets back to his bedroom to go to sleep he finds that Rainsford is still alive and he is in his bedroom behind his curtain, They end of fighting to see who wins and Rainsford has taken the win and Zaroff is now dead and Rainsford has officially survived the full 3 days and has won.
