Storyboard Text

  • First we march!
  • Fellow, peasants I will lead you in finding a way to not pay the higher taxes!
  • We want the taxes lowered or else.
  • Ok! I promise. Just please go home in peace.
  • The crown made the taxes higher and the peasants don't want to pay. Wat Tyler then stepped up to lead the other peasants to a way not to pay the higher taxes.
  • The peasants marched to London to plead their complaints to the young king. They destroyed tax records and receipts and burned government buildings.
