- Fellow, peasants I will lead you in finding a way to not pay the higher taxes!
- We want the taxes lowered or else.

- The crown made the taxes higher and the peasants don't want to pay. Wat Tyler then stepped up to lead the other peasants to a way not to pay the higher taxes.
- The peasants marched to London to plead their complaints to the young king. They destroyed tax records and receipts and burned government buildings.

- Please, tell me what you want that will be enough for you to go home and I promise it will happen
- I simply did what had to be done. You guys didn't go home now you surely have to go home you have no leader.
