- The Ugly Duckling began confronting his fears by approaching dirty water. His siblings laughed at him the first few times he tried. Their reactions only fueled his determination to face his fears. Every day, the Ugly Duckling worked on doing something that scared him. It was terrifying for him every time, but his Mama duck was there for him every step of the way.
- After four weeks, the Ugly Duckling returned to the wise owl to seek more new information. The Ugly Duckling had been wondering why he was born differently, and the wise owl explained that his behavior could be due to genetics from either grandparents or parents, or it could be due to some unusual abnormalities in the brain.

- An Ugly Duckling that was born with an unusual behavior that went through many hardships finally was able to live life more peacefully after facing the majority of his fears. His siblings laughed and mocked him whenever they got the chance, but they soon realized their horrible behavior and how much it hurt their sibling, so they decided to start supporting him more often. The Mama duck who helped and never turned her back on her child, even when he was a little different from the others, was beyond thrilled and happy for this new chapter for her little duckling.
