- Cassius has asked Julius Caesar to come to the capital to listen to the conspirators.
- Liberty! Freedom! Tyranny is dead!Run hence, proclaim, cry it about the streets.

- the conspirators came up with an idea to confront Caesar with a petition. Caesar of course declines
- Thy master is a wise and valiant Roman.I never thought him worse.Tell him, so please him come unto this place,He shall be satisfied and, by my honor,Depart untouched

- Caesar in disbelief that his best friend as given order to the conspirators to kill him
