- 'Milk velly getting scarce soon who buy something else get milk no buy something else , no milk.'
- Exposition: In the village everyone bought from Chung Lee . He was a Chinaman who couldn't speak english very well. Then a big rich man opened a store higher up the street. Soon barely anyone went to Chung Lee's store and during that time he had his loyal friend, Su tang keeping him company .
- Liza , milk getting scarce I got one tin from Chung Lee but he has more . You better buy some things and get some milk before all gone . I going back again too.
- Rising Action: Trade was going very bad and Chung Lee couldn't afford a new vest.
- A pound o' bacona tin of grapefruit bottle cooking oila pound o'salt meatfour tins o'milk
- Climax: When Mary Atkins came into the store Chung Lee created a gimmick where milk was getting scarce and you would have to buy otherthings to get milk.

- Falling Action: When Mary Atkins gathered up her parcels , paid and left she stopped to tell Liza Deane that milk was getting scarce but Chung Lee had and that she should go buy some things to get milk before it was gone.
- Falling Action: After Mary Atkins told her friends about how milk was getting scarce and how to get more milk before it's finished they all went down to Chung Lee's to buy things to buy milk.
- Resolution: Late Saturday night he closed his shop doors . He was hot and tired , he had served so many customers that day. Before he slept he checked the goods he should order more of mentally . As he was listing what he needed to order a vision of the many cases of milk laid in the back of his shop rose in his head . "Milk velly scarce soon!" He laughed softly and went to sleep.
