- In the middle of the night a group of soldiers broke into Alem's house and threatened his family by telling them to leave Eritrea or die.

- Alem's father decided it was too dangerous for Alem to stay so they flew to England.

- Alem and his father took a taxi to their hotel and had a tour all around London. They also went to an italian restaurant and ate spaghetti.

- After 2 days staying in London Alem woke up to find the manager of the hotel. He gave him a letter Alem's father had left for him before returning to Eretrea.
- After he received the letter, two girls called Pamela and Mariam from the Office for the refugees took Alem to ask some questions for asylum.
- I am so nervous. What if I don't answer correctly?

- When Alem finished his interview he was sent to a refugee camp where he would stay for some time.
