- Once upon a time.....
- The couple were very fond to each other, they even got engaged. Butnot until they were already long-engaged for several years already.
- Meanwhile, Alfredo occasionally goes to Judge Del Valle’s Residence together with his father, Don Julian for a visit. It was one evening when a young woman met his eyes at that house…
- There was a man named Alfredo who is madly in love with this girl named Esperanza. Alfredo dedicatedly gave flowers and notes to Esperanza as he serenades her. The society views these two as an ideal couple.
- Alfredo, with uneasiness due to confusion about what he really felt, continued to see Julia after going to mass for several Sundays already.
- Alfredo seemedto change his attitude towards Esperanza. He meets her just sometimes and allthose serenades, notes, and flowers before were now gone. Yet, Esperanza stillwaited for Alfredo outside the church after mass, hoping that she will have aglance with his beloved man.
- As Alfredo was on his way home, from Julia’s place, he met Esperanza while he was walking…
- Alfredo found this girl not to pretty but very appealing. Her voice seemed to be as great as his favorite song. Her smiles and her eyes caught his attention. It was indeed a wonderful night for him, with the ball of fire starting to light up his affection for her.
- Days after, Alfredo went to meet Julia once again, at the same place where their love had begun.
- Truly, what’s forbidden is much more pleasing to do. Forbidden love made his heart continuously wavers every time they sat next to each other, telling stories and laughing. They enjoyed each other’s company.
- Alfredo knew from that day that he was cheating. He was giving Julia something she shouldn’t have. He was confused on who to choose. Yes, his love was forbidden, yet it is true love.
- While having that conversation, Alfredo felt sadness since he knows that tomorrow will be the start of the planning for his wedding with Esperanza. He knew that he should be happy as destiny made its way easier for him. Julia will be leaving, as soon as he and Esperanza will prepare for the wedding. Yet, he’s not happy. The dream is already over, he needs to get back to his reality. He’s now a way farther to his star.
