- Oedipus solved the riddle of the sphinxand saved the city of Thebes.The peoplewere so hapy that they made him king
- Oedipus went to see Tiresias because Apollo had told him to drive out a plauge from the city. He thought perhaps Tiresias could shed some light on the matter. Tiresias told him that he was the one who killed King Laius Che was the murder that he was suposed to drive out.
- Oedipus belives Creon his brother in lawis in on some plot against him. Jocasta (his wife) tries to convince Oedipus thatCreon is innocent and that he didn't killLaius either, it just happend
- Oedipus finds out that theshepard actually gave him to hisadopted parents and that hiswife is actually his mother. He isshocked and disgusted
- How could this be?!?!
- Oedipus goes to find his wife and finds her dead because she didn't want to tell him about his real family. He goes insane and is very upset
- Oedipus is so ashamed and embarrassed that he married his mom. He decided to poke his eyes out and leave Thebes. He says good bye to his daughters as he will never see them again. Creon takes him out of the city
