- Hey Jess! How did the interview go?
- I don't know why I didn't get the job! I've been preparing for months!
- What do you think went wrong! I was sure you were going to get the job!
- Of course how could I forget! We were so mean to her! I still feel bad to this day.
- Do remember the tweet we made in grade school? About that girl Alice?
- The employer found it, she said she didn't want toxic people in the workplace.
- That's right! I could've sworn we deleted that tweet before the teachers could see it.
- But what does that have to do with it? We wrote it in Middle School.
- She said it had something to do with digital footprints. And that everything you put on the internet is permanent.
- That makes sense. And I assume our digital footprint we made in the past prevented you getting this job.
- Correct! So I guess we made some bad choices about what we were putting on the internet.
