- This is an example of Man Vs man because in the book Idek is caught with a girl by Elie. And punishes Elie by making him bend over a crate as he whips him.
- Man Vs Nature
- This is an example of Man Vs Self because he is complaining about being in his body. He wishes that he was in a different body or somewhere else entirely.
- Man Vs Society
- "A Jew was henceforth forbidden to own gold, jewelry, or any valuables" (Wiesel 10-11).
- This is a example of Man Vs God because they are asking where god is as kids and old men get hung. And are asking why he isn't helping them. And Elie is realizing that god is not here to help them. He is being hung as well.
- "An icy wind was blowing violently"(Wiesel 85). This is an example of Man Vs nature because they are being wind whipped by freezing wind. While running through freezing weather.
- This is an example of Man vs Society because they had their gold and valuables taken from them. By people that were persecuting them. They were then moved into ghettos.
