- During the reign of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette many parties were thrown. These parties cost a lot and put them into debt. What they did was tax the poor and didn't think of the consequences to follow.
- Tennis Court Oath and the creation of the National Assembly
- We will stay till we get what we want!!
- We shall take this oath together!
- We have all the money and don't need to work at all.
- The storming of the Bastille was caused to get arms and ammunition. They also did it because they couldn't afford bread. The whole event is a way to show that the people could overpower the monarchy.
- Ancien Regime and the unfair system of the 3 estates
- Women were concerned because of such high bread prices. The march began in Paris and they continued to riot for the prices to be lowered. This event caused a major turn of events heading toward the French Revolution.
- Execution of King Louis XVI

- This should not be happening.
- On June 20, 1789 The Third Estate took the Tennis Court Oath. This event was very important because it showed that the people held great authority that couldn't be compared to the monarchy. It declared that they would stay together until a new French Constitution would take place.
- The Ancien Regime was unfair to those who were in the third estate (98% of the population). Even though they had the most people they were easily outvoted. This way of ruling eventually caused The French Revolution.
- We are all being taxed with little money for us to have. :(
- The execution of King Louis XVI happened because he was found guilty of treason. Following these events his wife and kids followed him to the guillotine. He was beheaded on January 21, 1793.
