- Arctic climates are very snowy and cold. Many animals can survive the cold such as polar bears, penguins, and seals!

- Forests are not too cold and not too hot and are filled with many kinds of trees. To adapt to seasons, some squirrels store food for the winter. Other animals might grow thick fur, or some just migrate somewhere warmer!

- Deserts are very dry places. They can be hot during the day and very cold at night. Many animals have learned to survive with almost no water.

- Oceans take up over 70% of the Earth's surface. They are home to many types of animals. There is also a lot of plant life.
- Rainforest are warm, wet, and full of trees. Most animals live in the canopy of trees. Trees grow tall to try and find the sun!

- Grasslands get more rain than deserts but less rain than forests. The animals roam around eating grass and looking for water.
