Storyboard Text

  • Robbers attacking 
  • A priest comes
  • A Levite comes along with the priest
  • A Jewish man was travelling to Jericho from Jerusalem when he was attacked by robbers they stripped him and beat him up, leaving him half dead 
  • A samaritan comes along 
  • It just so happened that a priest was there and he came to him
  • Leaving 
  • The priest brung a Levite he looked at the man and then crossed the road and continued
  • End
  • Soon after a Samaritan was going that way he saw the man and was instantly sorry for him, he attended his wounds, bandaged him up and took him to an inn on his donkey 
  • The next day the Samaritan had to leave he gave the innkeeper two silver coins and said, “take care of him and when I come back this way I will pay you whatever else you spend on him”
  • Some Jewish people were so surprised and shocked by this story. Samaritans were seen as foreign Jews who worshiped differently than Jews from Jude’s or Galilee. They were also old enemies who refused to worship God at the temple in Jerusalem
