- Thats the landing site down there, but whats going on?
- There were three American soldiers: one black and two white. At first they shot three cows in the shed then they set our house on fire. They pointed the guns to our heads and forced all six of us into the faily bomb shelter.

- My mother told us go into the shelter first, and she would enter later and cover us from bullets. As soon my mother got into the shelter, The American soldiers continuously tossed in grenades. The bodies of my mother, my sisters and brother were torn into pieces.

- Hugh Thomas mission was to locate enemies and alert friendly ground forces, but saw instead, lots of people being killed, a large part of Lai was on fire and being destroyed as a whole.

- Hugh Thompson(An American Soldier) was a hero at the My Lai Massacre. After being upset by what he was seeing, Thomas landed and ordered his door gunner, Specialist Four Larry Colburn to fire on Americans if they refused to break off the chase.
