- 1. Prometheus came up to Zeus and argued with him about giving humans the knowledge of fire.
- 2. Zeus didn't give into Prometheus's claims and stated that man is already happy.
- 3. Prometheus stole fire from the heavens and gave it to the humans.
- 4. Humans developed and became prideful with their newfound element.
- 5. Zeus was infuriated because he knew that humans would become too prideful.
- 6. Zeus punished Prometheus by making two vultures eat his liver while he was tied to a mountain every day.
