  • How is talking to you going to do anything?
  • This scene stuck out to me because it took place before some of the most important events in the story. I also wanted to do it because I felt like doing something on a basketball court would be too basic/boring. The impact of this scene is that Crystal Bell, Josh's mother said to Josh Bell to try talking to his father, Chuck Bell. Despite being in a coma. The impact comes whenever Josh, reluctant to speak to his father due to his condition. Finds out his dad could hear him the whole time. They start to ask each other questions. Josh seeming upset thinking it was his fault. He keeps on asking about if his dad was gonna be there for his championship basketball game, too. When he finds out he still can't, he eventually leaves.
  • The scene is reflected effectively.Because despite Josh Bell being upset his father can't come to his basketball game. He is still sad about the condition of his father. He thinks it is his fault. The reason Chuck Bell is in a coma is because during a 1v1 (One Versus One) with Josh he tried to dunk and went into a coma. This made Josh think it was his fault because his "Crossover" (A Basketball move) Wasn't good enough which is why his father got the ball. So yes, he is sad.(BTW, The characters look a little off because I had limited selection of them. Otherwise I'd have to get a subscription.)
