- When the British solider told the men to go to the church Pierre was curious and nervous.
- You need to be at the church tomorrow the Governor has news.
- What'sgoing on?
- 418 men gathered in the church curious and afraid.
- What's going to happen?
- When the Governor said the news, Pierre was furious, he was an innocent person being forced out.
- What! Why!?
- Nooo!
- All Acadians must leave Nova Scotia since many of you have been trading with our French rivals and broke the Oath of Allegiance!
- What about the innocent people?
- At the church the Governor said all Acadians had to leave because of some trading with the French.
- But we are innocent!
- But what about our home?
- Pierre's family was so scared. Before they could grab anything British soldiers came in and forced them out.
- So soon!?
- You need to leave!
- While travelling many Acadians died from an illness and some escaped to France or Mi'kmaq villages.
- 7000 people all walking into the unknown without their homes or useful materials, while British soldiers burn their homes and barns.
