- Word of the Americans recent Victory Spread it to the European colonies, It will prove to them that The Americans are worth being allies with.many individuals helped to,like Baron Friedrich von Steuben a military instructor who Taught them to fight in open battlefield. One of the most important people who helped was LaFayette a 19 year old French teen who played a big role in the fight.
- The final battle was the battle of Yorktown.the British were waiting for a shipment of supplies at Yorktown but the Americans had a spy named James Armistead Had told the Americans about it.They set up a blockade while Washington’s army met them in Yorktown. General Cornwallis was surrounded and after weeks of battle he surrendered.the Americans won
- The Treaty of Paris Was signed in 1783. This treaty ended the 7 year revolutionary war. In this treaty Great Britain acknowledged that the United States was a free and independent country. The U.S. where Represent by 4 men including Ben Franklin and John Adams. Great Britain were represented by David Hartley And Richard Oswald.
