- She was sold to a French Canadian Fur trapper named Toussaint Charbonneau.
- Sacagawea Got married to Toussaint Charbonneau. After a year or so she gave birth to Jean Baptiste Charbonneau.

- Lewis and clark came to the Hidastu villages and hired Sacagawea's husbund they needed an interpeter so Sacagawea said that she can help.
