Storyboard Text

  • Saul, Saul, Why are you persecuting me?
  • I come in the name of Jesus to regain your sight and fill you with the Holy Spirit.
  • Saul was radically opposed to the idea of Jesus's resurrection and the belief that he was the son of God. Because of this, Saul was against anyone who supported Jesus. Saul wanted to go to Damascus and bring supporters of Jesus back to Jerusalem on behalf of the chief priests.
  • Jesus is the messiah and son of God.
  • He's praising the Lord!
  • As Saul was traveling to Damascus, the sky flashed at him and Jesus appeared. Jesus influenced Saul's faith and made him into one of his disciples.
  • Saul has betrayed us and fallen into the hands of Jesus and his so called disciples.
  • The disciple Ananias was sent to Saul at the house of Judas on the street called straight. Ananias was sent by Jesus to lay his hand on Saul so that Saul could regain his sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • Saul began to praise Jesus as the messiah and pray to him as the son of God more and more after his encounter with God. The other disciples in Damascus were astounded.
  • The Jews conspired against Saul and plotted to kill him.
  • We must kill him!
  • Saul learned of their plot to kill him which allowed him and the disciples to plan how to get him back to Jerusalem safely. They knew that they would be waiting at the gates for Saul to enter, so they lowered him down the wall in a basket to prevent him from being caught and killed. He was then taken down to Caesarea and sent on his way to Tarsus.
