  • We're running out of resources. We need to get out of here!
  • Egypt here we come!
  • This is terrible! The pharaoh is slaving all of the Hebrews who came to Egypt for resources.
  • Our poor poor first born son!
  • The patriarch Abraham made a covenant with god promising that if he and his family left Ur and traveled to Cannan that one day this would be his descendants promised land. Years later, a famine struck in Canan. Abraham's son Jacob and his family fled to Egypt. As the isreaights grew more numerous, and practiced monotheism, The pharaoh began mistrustful and enslaved them all.
  • Yes sir.
  • Tell the Israelites I demand they leave Egypt!
  • Here are the 10 commandments, use these laws.
  • Moses was a Hebrew who was raised in the palace of the Pharaoh in Egypt. He wanted to leave the palace because the Pharaoh was slaving the Hebrews. The Pharaoh would not let the Hebrews out of slavery.
  • Ok!
  • Sicknesses, swarms of insects…..and lastly the death of the first born son were all some of the punishments that the Pharaoh and Egyptains experienced. Moses tells the Hebrews to smear lambs blood over their doorways, so the Angel of Death will pass over their homes.

  • Yay! We conquered this kingdom.
  • The pharaoh demanded that the Israelits leave Egypt.Moses led the Israelites to the Sinai Peninsula, out of the Pharaoh's reach.
  • After leaving Egypt, the Israelites went to the Sinai Peninsula.Moses received the laws known today as the Ten Commandments and received it from the god. They were important because it tells them how to act towards god.
  • Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan and they conquered Jericho. After the defeat of Jerico, Israelites conquered small kingdoms called tribes...Some settled in the south, north and east.
