  • Malaria is a disease caused by a plasmodium parasite, transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes. The symptoms are chills, fever and sweating which usually occur a few weeks after being bitten.

  • Malaria is not caused by a virus or a bacteria, it is caused by a parasite known as plasmodium which is normally spread through infected mosquitoes.

  • Treatment for Malaria Is by using antimalarial drugs such as Chloroquine phosphate and Artemisinin-based combination therapies.
