- King George III passed the Stamp Act .You will all have taxes on various paper forms,stamps, and playing cards
- Yeah he's right.So why now?
- So now he cares about us. Since we came here we haven't had one single tax.
- The French and Indians are fighting with the British and colonists for the Ohio River Valley.Then Britain and the colonists won after 7 years.Then King George III passed the Proclamation Act which forbid the colonists to pass the Appalachian Mountains.Of course, the colonists were infuriated.

- After the French and Indian war, Britain has went in debt.King George IIIwanted the colonists to pay the debt so he put taxes.Parliament passed the Suger Act and Stamp Act.

- The colonists refused to pay the taxes.They were infuriated by the Act.

- One thing that worsen the situation was the Boston massacre which was just a fight between the redcoats and some colonists. Paul Revere exaggerated the situation by saying it was a massacre. He later made an engraving called the Bloody Massacure.
- Then after the Boston massacre came the tea act and then the tea party. After that, the king had enough and closed down the Boston ports and their governments. Then came the battles of Lexington and Concord which were the first battles between Britain and Te Colonies.
