- In ancient Rome, people were entertained by seeing gladiators fight animals or other gladiators in the arena.
- It is my favourite day of the week.
- But one of the things that was bad for the empire was that Rome slaughtered many slaves for entertainment.
- They forced slaves to fight in the colosseum against wild animals or other slaves.
- I don't want to do this, please spare me!
- After all, Rome was a long lasting empire due to its power and civilization.
- I love the place where I live, I really enjoy living here..
