- Francis and Layla are really excited about going for a swim down at the beach as it is a beautiful day, they have been waiting for this for ages.Exodus 13: 17-18
- I can't believe Layla didn't come, the water is beautiful today.
- Layla refuses to walk 1km to the beach as it will take too much effort and complains about it to Francis. Layla demands that they go home but Francis still wants to go. Exodus 17: 1-3
- That was a great swim.! I bet Layla will be jealous that she did not come to.
- Francis is like Moses although the Israelites quarrelled with him and demanded water he continued to the Promised Land.Exodus 17: 3
- I should have been more paitent and taken the long trip. Then I would have been able to go to the beach.

- While Francis enjoys a great time at the beach Layla is still waiting under the tree, regreting her descision to not come and join him.
- As Francis was paitent and pursed in times of trouble he was rewaded with a good outcome, which in this case was a day at the beach. Layla, who gave up was not rewarded . Exodus 17: 1-7
- Layla is sad that she did not have some paitence and listen to her brother, then she would have been able to go to the beach.Exodus 17: 5-7
