  • Meir Y Teran Investigation
  • Manuel de Mier y teran: You must act fast or lose Texas forever!
  • Mexican Government: Oh no!
  • The Law of April 6th
  • Law maker: I will stop immigration from the U.S. , Suspend empresarios contracts , taxes on foriegn food, and stop the the introducton of slaves.
  • Colonists: This is not fair we are very angry!
  • Mean Bradburn: Okay, I will fight you because I had people arrested and I follow Mexican law!
  • 1st Anahuac
  • Colonist: I am not paying more for my food!
  • Colonist: I am very mad and will small fight you!
  • After Fredonia Revolt, the USA ambassador to Mexico suggest that Mexico should sell Texas to the USA. General Manuel de Mier y Teran is sent to do an investigation. He recommends the Mexican government act fast or lose Texas.
  • Turtle Bayou Resolution
  • SFA: "okay I will".
  • Colonists: " you must go to deliver the requirements to Santa Anna"!
  • Law had stopped immigration from the USA, suspended emprearios contracts, and encouraged European and Mexican families to move. It imposed taxes on foreign goods and stopped the introduction of slaves. These laws made colonists angry.
  • The arrest of SFA
  • People trying to find SFA: "there he is!! get him now!"
  • It was the first serious conflict. Mean Bradburn followed Mexica law to the fullest even though he was American. The colonists were mad when the tax collector came aroud to collect taxes. Mean Bradburn arrested William B. Travis and Patrick Jack for interfering tax collections. The colonists were mad and fought Bradburn.
  • 2nd Anahuac
  • Colonists: "We want independence,and we are angry at Santa Anna!"
  • Colonists came up with a revolution and denied rebelling against Mexican authorities. The colonists supported Santa Anna because they thought we were a federalist. Santa comes to power in 1833 and colonists ask SFA to deliver the list of requirements they made to Santa.
  • SFA got tired of waiting on Santa and decides to write a letter to Texas about how people in Mexico City are crazy. When Santa returns he decides to remove immigration law. Once Santa finds out about the letter he puts SFA in jail. SFA is then released in July 1835.
  • SFA: "uh oh"
  • The colonist was very mad at the Taxes. William B Travis forms an army to defeat Tenorio. The colonist sends an apology letter to Santas's brother, but he rejects it. Santa is now a centralist . There is a vote for independence and SFA is for it. The Texans refused to turn in anyone disloyal to the Mexican goverment.
  • SFA: "I will vote for independence! I support Texas revolution!"
  • William B. Travis: " I will form an army!"
