- French fur traders moved into the South Carolina upstate. The British signed a treaty with the Cherokee to not be friends with the French.
- ???
- Stay Here!
- Thirty years go by and the French and Indian War starts. The British failed to protect the Cherokee at beginning of the war.
- Deal?
- Hmph...Fine.
- The Cherokee stole some horses from the settlers and the settlers fought back. This started a war that would last two years.
- Get Out!
- The governor of the colony tried to stop the war by ending trade with the Cherokee and taking some of them as hostages.
- A treaty was signed to end the French and Indian War.
- As a result of that treaty, the Cherokee were forced to give up much of their lands in South Carolina.
