- Why are all the people I invited refusing to come? Servants, go tell them to come. This is my son's wedding banquet!
- When the guests again refused to come, the king sent his servants to try to convince them. Instead, they went to his fields and businesses and murdered the king's servants. Enraged, the king killed the murderers and burned their city.
- The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.
- So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
- For many are invited, but few are chosen.
