Icarus and Daedalus

- Really, Awsome! I can't wait to meet the king.
- Icarus, we're going to crete!
- Thank you your majesty
- Welcome to Crete Daelalus and Icarus
- We're done, can we have our money now?
- No because you will be on a island till you die.
- Daedalus and his son Icarus were about to leave their town and go to Crete to work there and they were very excited, especially Icarus.
- What are you doing dad?
- I'm making wings out of feathers and wax so we can escape this island.
- When they arrived, King Minos was waiting for them so they could get started on the work. As they were talking, the King told them that they had to build a dungun for the most dangerous creature that eats human flesh. So they started right away.
- Look dad, I'm doing it!
- When Daedalus was done, the King didn't want them to leave so he said that they will be on a island and they wouldn't get out till they die.
- Father please help me!
- When Daedalus and Icarus were stuck in this island, Daedalus had an idea how to get out of here. So he made wings out of feathers and wax so they can fly out of here.
- They took off and they flew over the island to the ocean to go to another city. But, Icarus was so excited he was flying that he flew too high and close to the sun.
- Icarus! Don't fly too close to the sun!
- Icarus got too close to the sun and his wings melted and he fell to the ocean and died. Daedalus tried to help his son but, all he could do from here is watch.
