- 4. Asking for our daily bread: Daily bread is a symbol of everything needed for our body and soul. We ask for our daily bread when we pray we trust God that he will take care of us and give us what we need to keep going
- 1. Hallowing God's Name relates to Prayer because of what we pray for. One of his names which is God who heals relates to prayer because sometimes we pray for sick people and for them to be healed. Another name he has is God who provides. We pray and thank God for providing food,water, and life for us.
- 5. Seeking forgiveness and forgiving: Jesus instructs us to ask God for forgiveness and this relates to our prayers because we pray for God forgive our bad decisions and forgive our sins
- 2. The Coming of God's Kingdom: In the Our Father prayer we say "Thy kingdom come." We say this because we are calling for Jesus to come back to Earth at the second coming. We look forward to the eternal life that has been promised by His birth and life. We wait for The second coming by participating in God's Kingdom.
- 6. Resisting Temptation: Sometimes we are tempted to go against God's teachings. We pray that Jesus and God lead us in the right path and the path where we live in God's teachings.
- 7. Protection from Evil: We pray that God and Jesus protect us from the evil things in the world and saves us from the evil things. When we ask God to protects us we are also praying that he frees us from all the evils of the present.
